18th Century George III Dressing Table (#1997)
This George III Dressing Table is in beautiful condition and retains a rich patina. Its primary wood is mahogany, with oak as secondary. The rectangular single board top features a molded edge over three molded edge drawers, raised on square legs with inside chamfer. Appears to have replaced but period brasses. It is in excellent condition. It dates back to the later period of the 1700's. George III furniture refers to King George III (1738-1820) who was born in 1738 and reigned from 1760-1811 over the United Kingdom. He was the grandson of King George II. This is a wonderful piece for your antique collection. It measures 32" wide, 20" deep, 28" high.
